As part of the First Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences, a panel discussion was held under the theme:

"The Future of Biomedical Engineering in Syria: Challenges and Solutions"

The session took place during the conference’s opening ceremony and featured prominent experts:

  • Prof. Dr. Abdul Qader Martini – Former President of Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences (for 14 years)
  • Prof. Dr. Omar Hammada – Head of the National Commission for Quality and Accreditation in Higher Education
  • Prof. Dr. Mustafa Al-Mawaldi – Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Technical Education
  • Prof. Dr. Shadi Al-Azma – President of the Distinction and Creativity Agency

The discussion was moderated by Dr. Eng. Ayman Al-Kayal, Dean of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at Al Andalus University for Medical Sciences.
