In conclusion, despite the proposition of several mechanisms underlying the development of AF post COVID-19 including the inflammatory cytokine storm, viral endothelial damage, electrolytes abnormalities, and the decrease in angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 receptor availability, the absence of the risk factors in our case and the limited number of similar cases highlight the necessity of further studies highlighting life-threatening arrhythmia in younger ages.
